Suzy Haygood

Suzy is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a passion for anesthesia and patient care. She received her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Athens Technical College. Suzy has worked in a variety of areas in veterinary medicine, including small animal general practice, large animal medicine, emergency medicine, academia, and ophthalmology, where she was a practice leader and a travel technician.  

Suzy takes pride in providing compassionate care to her patients. She has a special interest in anesthesia and enjoys closely monitoring patients throughout their procedures or surgeries, paying attention to every detail to help ensure a smooth and safe experience. Whether she’s comforting a nervous pet, supporting them during surgery, or helping them recover afterward, she’s dedicated to providing compassionate care every step of the way. To Suzy, there's nothing more rewarding than helping pets heal and giving their families peace of mind. 

Suzy adores her two cats, Gus and Casper, and her Jack Russell Terrier, Iris. She loves watching movies (especially horror), cooking, and enjoying life with her significant other, Ethan.
