Natalie McNeely
Dr. Natalie McNeely, originally from Tampa, Florida, discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at an early age. With a diverse background ranging from working in veterinary clinics to conducting behavioral research on elephants in Africa, she solidified her commitment to caring for animals. Graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University, Dr. McNeely developed a keen interest in emergency medicine and has been practicing ER medicine in North Georgia since. Dr. McNeely has a particular interest in diagnostic imaging, trauma management, gastrointestinal surgery, and acute immune-mediated diseases. Her dedication to providing exceptional care to her patients is evident in her continuous pursuit of knowledge and skill refinement.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. McNeely enjoys spending time with her beloved pets, including her long-haired miniature Dachshund, Lucy, and Labrador mix, Macaroni. An avid adventurer, she can often be found engaged in activities such as Olympic lifting, trail running, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking. When she does take a moment to relax, Dr. McNeely indulges in playing guitar and drums, exploring North Georgia's wineries with friends, and spending time locally with her mom and their "shared custody" Border Collie/Australian Shepherd, Luna.
