Dr.Tuncay is from Washington, DC, and attended the University of Minnesota for vet school, graduating in 2019. After school, he did a rotating internship at a VCA in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He then came to Atlanta and did an oncology internship before transitioning into ER. Oncology is still a passion and special interest of Dr. Tuncay. 

He has wanted to work with animals since he was young. Dr. Tuncay went to the National Zoo frequently and always enjoyed those trips. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cooking, going on hikes, watching TV/movies, playing video games, and going out to eat. Dr. Tuncay is married to a NICU nurse and they have two cats: MJ is a 3-year-old Orange Tabby and Pig is a 13-year-old Persian.
