Always knowing she wanted to work with Animals, Katie graduated from Judson College with a bachelor's degree in Equine Science in 2016. She then graduated from Gwinnett Technical College with a degree in Applied Sciences - Veterinary Technology, before going on to work at UGA's Veterinary Teaching Hospital. From there, Katie settled at a surgical facility where she grew a love for orthopedic surgeries. 

Katie joined our AVSE team in order to expand her surgical skillset and be closer to her family. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and watching sports with her Pitty, Ladybug, and Cavalier mix, Gunnar, as well as her family's herd of 3 Dachshunds, Marigold, Polly, and Violet.
