Emma Stange
Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Emma Stange is an emergency veterinarian with a passion for helping pets and their families when they need it most. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Marine and Environmental Sciences from the University of Tampa in 2021, followed by her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2025. She remained at UGA to complete an emergency and critical care-focused rotating internship, further honing her clinical skills in the heart of DAWG country!
Dr. Stange has special interests in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and exotic animal medicine. Above all, she is passionate about client education and compassionate communication. She understands that veterinary visits, particularly during emergencies and end-of-life decisions, can be overwhelming and scary. As a Fear-Free Certified veterinarian, she strives to create a positive and supportive experience for both pets and their families. Her goal is to ensure that every pet owner leaves feeling heard, informed, and confident in their understanding of their pet’s care. She believes that empowering clients through education and open communication is an essential part of providing exceptional veterinary medicine.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Stange enjoys hiking, free-diving, and traveling to remote destinations, always adding a new keychain to her collection along the way. When she’s not off on an adventure, she loves trying new recipes at home with her significant other and their two rescue pets, Izzy, a mixed breed pup, and Tallulah, a tabby cat.
