Dr. Michael F. Di Cicco is an internal medicine doctor and the medical director at Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty and Emergency.  He comes to our team with 10 years of experience in specialty practice.  Dr. Di Cicco received his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from Purdue University and veterinary degree from the University of Illinois in 2009.  Following graduation, he completed a 1-year rotating internship at Cornell University followed by a 3-year residency in small animal internal medicine at North Carolina State University. 

Dr. Di Cicco enjoys all aspects and the challenges that come with practicing internal medicine but has a special interest in urinary tract, hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases, along with cystoscopy, endoscopy, and abdominal imaging.  Away from the clinic, Dr. Di Cicco enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and watching Chicago sports teams (Da Bears!).  Dr. Di Cicco and his wife Dr. Jennifer Di Cicco are busy at home with their 3 children (Madeleine, Charlotte, and Ellis) and 2 dogs Norman and Fletcher.
